Efforts by Chess for a Cause team towards engaging seniors with youth through Chess, was acknowledged with selection to attend Healthy communities summit in beautiful Augusta Convention center. Our team had a enlightening and enriching experience listening to speakers and participating in neuroplasticity exercises. The award ceremony was inspiring and we also got an opportunity to meet with Ms. Aby Cox, Director of the Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services (DAS), Ms. Minica Walters, Board Member and many other inspiring personalities.
